Vimal Chand, born on 17th October 1966 in New Delhi, is an Indian contemporary artist known for his deep engagement with nature-themed acrylic paintings. He earned his Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Painting from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1993, developing a distinctive visual language centered around serene forest landscapes, nature's textures, and atmospheric nuances.
Over the years, Chand has built a solid reputation through numerous solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad.
