Biography & Education

Born in 1979 in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, Jaiprakash Chauhan is a seasoned contemporary abstract artist who has been working professionally for over 14 years. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Government Institute of Fine Arts, Indore, completed in 2004. Inspired by his travels to historical Indian sites, Jaiprakash seeks to translate the richness of Indian culture, heritage, and human emotion into abstract forms. His artworks are a thoughtful fusion of memory, symbolism, and sensory experience. Although many of his pieces are untitled, each one is deeply connected to the next, creating thematic continuity throughout his series. He has exhibited extensively across India and internationally through platforms such as Pranjal Arts, Mojarto (NDTV venture), and others.
