Puri’s paintings are deeply influenced by his love for music, human relationships, and emotional resonance. He forms delicate scenes of figures, often in musical contexts or emotive groupings, using subtle compositions and muted tones that weave together human expression and rhythm. Later, he shifted focus toward ceramics and mural art, becoming the first artist in India to use ceramic as a sculptural medium.
