About
Pulak Biswas (1941–2013) was a pioneering Indian illustrator, celebrated for his expressive and minimalistic illustrations in children's books. Trained in Kolkata, London, and Amsterdam, he worked in advertising before devoting himself fully to illustration in 1981. His art continues to inspire generations for its cultural depth and human warmth.
