Born: February 7, 1980, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Completed a Master’s in Art and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, and studied Art History (Iconography) at the National Museum Institute in New Delhi.

Amit Kalla is not just a visual artist but also an acclaimed Hindi poet. His first poetry collection Hone Na Hone Se Pare won the prestigious Bharatiya Jnanpith Navlekhan Puraskar. Other collections include Shabd‑Shabd Visarjan, Rit‑Anrit, and One Death God.
His art is deeply philosophical—exploring imagination, consciousness, and aesthetic awareness. He aims to draw social engagement through poetic and visual creativity.
